About Me

Nastyfacts made quite an impact on the early NY punk/new wave scene, especially considering that they only released one single, and were just teenagers at the time. They appeared regularly at Max's Kansas City , CBGB , and most of the other hot spots of the time. Their success culminated in the release of a 3 song 7" ep on Jimboco Records, produced by Ramona Jan (Dizzy and the Romilars, Comateens). The single was very well received, and has become a highly sought after collectable.Fans may be interested to know that the band recorded a 5 song EP in 2004, entitled "All Around The World", which is available at Cd Baby , Itunes , and dozens of other digi-download sites (Cherl Boyze went absent, but everyone else participated, including original producer Ramona Jan).

Nastyfacts=one word

In case anyone has noticed, or wondered about this, the band name is indeed one word - Nastyfacts.  The front cover of the single did nothing to enforce this point, though the back cover, and ins...

Long lost Nastyfacts audio

It was fully a year between the time we recorded the 3 songs for Jimboco and when it was released, in 1981.  In that time, we did enter the studio again to record a few more songs. ...
