About Me
My Name is Baba Ifarinde, Adegboyega - OMO ÒDÒ ÀGBÀ An African traditional man, Babalawo of Ifa, with Odù ÒBÀRÀ ÒYÈKÚ, so also I am from direct Sango descendante and Oloje family, and a member of Free Mason. I was born in Ido-Osun, Egbedore Local Government, a small village between Ede and Osogbo in Osun State of Nigeria. I had the previledge as an artist participated in several cultural television movies called Ifa Olokun Asoro Dayo, a weekly television programs about African traditions, I was a master of ceremony of different social programs in Nigeria, I had some of my life in my vilage as an artist whereby I did many stage theatre from villages to villages then, most of my life, as a village boy I always had the opportunity of having many elderly people as my good friends, people that are older than me, and that is where I had the opportunity to learn about African/Yoruba traditions. Then, I was nicknamed OMO ÒDÒ ÀGBÀ, a child that was brought up by the elders.
Presently, I am a resident in Brasil and a founder of Centro Cultural Adimula in Brasil and Adimula Cultural Foundation Inc. in Miami-Florida. My organisation promotes African culture, Arte, music, Conferences, Seminars, African traditions e.t.c
