My ancestors - I would have loved to know what type of lives they lead and their views on life. My grandfather, Charles Everett because I would love to learn about his life during WWI and his crop-dusting days. All of The Beatles - they've had so much impact on politics, style and music. I know this sounds weird but I would have loved to meet "me" in one or more of my previous lives. The late great John Belushi - I wish you could have lived to see how influencial you are to college-frat-party movies and commedians. The world adored you and you will always be Jake Blues...

And finally, my aunt, Miss Jan Place, who continues to show us all how wonderful life really is and who lives each day positively and productively, regardless of her obstacles. ************************************************************ ************************************************************ ********************************************************* As stated by Jacques Barzun (He said it well) "Whoever wants to know the heart and mind of America had better learn baseball, the rules and realities of the game." Joe DiMaggio once said...."When baseball is no longer fun, it's no longer a game." & "A ball player's got to be kept hungry to become a big leaguer. That's why no boy from a rich family ever made it to the big leagues." Rogers Hornsby stated (I completely understand!)"People ask me what I do in winter when there's no baseball. I'll tell you what I do. I stare out the window and wait for spring." As stated by Red Barber... "Baseball is dull only to dull minds." ..
