Autumn!

About Me

I’m not a people person but I might want to be your friend. I’m shy but experience strange, frenzied bouts of outgoing-ness. Sometimes people think I am stand-offish. I suppose I am, really – but it’s only because I’m socially stupid, never know what to say and, of course, am awful at small talk. I wish I were better at that but it sets my teeth on edge. Still, I am probably glad to see you. Really. The basics: Married, two cats. Vegetarian. Loves rock'n'roll. At age 12, cut my hair to look like Pat Benetar. First real concert: Adam & the Ants. Cory was at the exact same show. Of course, we didn't know each other then. All the rest: I sing in my car. Loudly. Never in the shower. I drink a lot of coffee. Black. My ambition is surpassed only by my laziness.I love this town although I sometimes think about escaping.I often have celebrity dreams. I once dreamed Brad Pitt was my brother. I felt really bad for him - you know, about that whole Jennifer/Angelina thing. I’ve dreamed, on more than one occasion, that P.Diddy is trying to kill me. I’m still not quite sure what that’s about. When I was a kid, I always daydreamed that Agent Maxwell Smart and Agent 99 were my real parents. This is how I often passed the time in church. As a teen, I used to make up dance routines to Madonna songs. I still do sometimes. In my twenties, I thought that by the time I hit my thirties, I'd be old and have it all figured out.I’m still working on that one.writegrrrl
