Macaroon Shindig

Healthily Refined Nonsense since 2000. NEW ISSUE COMING SOON!

About Me

Macaroon Shindig is a six year-old print zine (perzine) soley written and published "as often as necessary" by full-time college student Katherine M. Hill. Since its introduction to the world in September 2000, MS has toured with Warped Tour's zine booth (2002-2003), delved into a wide range of features, and attended a handful of zine symposiums. More than 50 issues have been published, and the numbering system was re-set in January 2005. While the zine has changed dramatically over the years in appearance and content, the message and style remain the same.Macaroon Shindig #6 is out now. Articles are online at macaroonshindig.com and the issue can be downloaded in full. Hooray! The zine is 18 pages with color featuring an interview with Olympia and conversations with Anberlin 's Stephen Christian and The Graduate 's Corey Warning.Print issues will be available soon and for sale in the Etsy shop .Old issues have been loaded into a new section of the website...the ARCHIVES . Hooray II! In time I hope to have full [electronic] versions of issues 1-6 for download. If you have any questions, let me know!
