CLEARTHEWAY was re-formed in the fall of 2006 by longtime friends from Hudson, MA. The line-up of two guitars, bass and drums culminates in a heavy pop rock sound with energetic live shows.
Some of the venues that CLEARTHEWAY has played include: the Lucky Dog Music Hall , Maximum Capacity , Bulfinch Yacht Club , The Brass Cat, The Bullpen, Abbey Lounge, High Noon Saloon, Ralph’s Chadwick Square Diner Rock Club, Hudson Rod and Gun Club, Hudson Portuguese Club, Crazy Englishman Pub, The Riverside, Mainely Brews, Steppin' Out, Uptown Tavern, The Rose Garden, Trumbull Bar and Grill, Speakers, theADC/ Mill Street Brews , the Compound , Irish Times/Club Rehab, London Billiards, and Uxbridge Fair Grounds.
In July 2007 CLEARTHEWAY went on a 10 day tour in Portugal and was greeted with much enthusiasm from the Portuguese people. The band received regular national radio airplay on RPD, and the show at Festa da Filarmonica on the island of Pico was broadcast live on Portuguese national TV RTP.
CLEARTHEWAY is featured on the WAAF Miss Mantown 2006 DVD.
Emile Borbeau (NexGen Productions) produced and edited CLEARTHEWAY’s “Dave†, “My Prayers†and "Driving" videos.
In August 2007, CLEARTHEWAY self-released a new 11 song full-length cd recorded by Pete deGraaf and Lorne Sullivan, and mastered by Nick Zampiello. It is a good representation of the bands live sound. So far, CLEARTHEWAY has sold several hundred copies of the disc on their own with no distribution other than selling them at live shows.
CLEARTHEWAY is a member of ASCAP and is currently not signed with an independent or national label.
