About Me

;Born in Hudson, Massachusetts, Kevin began playing drums at the early age of ten, when his grandfather bought him a drum kit. Shortly thereafter, he gained experience as a drummer by performing at local clubs in Boston with various bands. Influenced by various drummers such as John Henry Bonham, David Garabaldi, Dennis Chambers, Dave Grohl, Stewart Copeland, Steve Adler, Dave Abruzzese, Neil Peart and many more; Kevin focused on improving his craft, studying with jazz drummer Bob Gullotti and Mike Mangini, whom collectively exposed him to many different approaches to drumming.Flash forward to 2000: Kevin recorded drums for EMI Records/Portugal artist Lucia Moniz’s “67”. Kevin moved to Portugal and toured with Moniz, in support of the release. Returning to Boston after two years, which coincided with an offer to tour Japan in 2003 with Population 1 in support of its self-titled Universal Records/Japan release. Not long afterwards, he went into the studio to record the 2004 Population 1 EP release, Sessions From Room 4. In support of the Sessions EP, Population 1 toured the east coast of the United States, while Population 1/ Dramagods continued to write songs for their next full-length release. The final months of the completion of the writing and recording for what would be the metamorphism of Population 1 into DramaGods and the release of the recording entitled Love.2005 got off to a quick start as Kevin appeared on national television in January with Population 1 on “The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson.” Then proceeded to tour Europe in April, followed by a tour of Asia (including China, Korea, Thailand, Philippines, Brunei, Singapore, and Malaysia) and Australia.Upon returning from tour. Kevin performed in Perry Farrell’s (Jane’s Addiction and Porno For Pyros) Satellite Party, for 2005’s Lollapalooza show in Chicago. Kevin secured his position as timekeeper along side Perry Farrell, Nuno Bettencourt, Tony Kanal, and Steve Ferlazzo. Not long after his notable performance, Kevin recorded all the drums tracks for the Satellite Party album “Ultra Payloaded”.In 2006, Kevin had the opportunity to perform with “The Doors” on 2 occasions for their 40th Anniversary gig, held at the Whiskey a GoGo and Book Soup. An acoustic show at a poetry reading with John Densmore, and performed 6 Doors songs live with Ray Manzarek, Robbie Krieger, Slash, Chester Benington, Perry Farrell, Nuno Bettencourt, and Carl Restivo.Kevin continued working with Satellite Party promoting the album, rehearsing, touring, and performing shows such as; ESPN Winter X Games, Coachella, UK/Europe tour with shows at the Download Festival, Wireless Festival, Werchter Festival, T in the Park, Oxegen Festival and many more. As well as US national television appearances in June 2007 on The Late Show with David Letterman, and Residency on Last Call with Carson Daly. After departing Satellite Party, Kevin joined the re-forming band Extreme featuring original members Gary Cherone, Nuno Bettencourt, and Pat Badger. Kevin has recorded drums on Extreme’s first studio album in 12 years. Extreme’s, yet to be titled, album is estimated for an early spring release and followed with a world tour in 2008.
