What is a Bob like me interested in? Well, I'll keep it as generically truthful as I can; I really doen't feel like pouring my heart and soul into some asshat internet profile. Saves all the "getting to know you" crap for actual communication, yes? I like to do a healthy mix of creative and pointless things. I like to watch and collect movies. I like to draw with ink or charcoal. I'm into sculpting and photography. I love music. I like to (i.e. try to) play my guitar. I like going to interesting places, but also enjoy staying at home and doing nothing. I collect comic books, and horror stuff. I love anything spooky or Halloweeny (hm hm). It sounds lame, but I like reading about and looking at swords and knives. I like smashing glass bottles and breaking stuff with baseball bats. I like going to shows. I love monsters, strange creatures, faeries, and mythological beasts. I love playing video games - old school nintendo as well as ps2. I like buying fantasy art books. I like stop-motion animation. I like caffeine. I like watching funny porno movies with my friends. I like my socks 'cuz they gots stripes on 'em. I like Garbage Pail Kids, earthy candles and christmas lights. I like smoking butts and watching B-movies. I like poking dead things with sticks and having chill conversations with strippers while they're onstage. I like board games. I like biting people. I like dicking around on the internet. I like hanging out with cool people... not "THE" cool people. Two phrases to sum it up? Try "retarded activity with a heaping portion of intelligent relaxation." Is that good enough?

I'd like to meet:
I'd definitely like to meet other punk/thrash/surf/spooky/whatever bands to play shows with. Me and the other assholes in SLITSTITCH have been busy as hell playing, recording, networking, blahfuckingblah, and we definitely wanna do our share to musically shit on anyone we see. So if you're in a band and wanna get together, fucking contact me or our MySpace page. Fuck New York - if you can make it in WORCESTER, you can make it anywhere. I'm a really easy person to get along with, unless you're a pig-headed jock asshole, a shallow stuck-up cunt, or have any racist/sexist/closed-minded views. Usually people with the same interests as me are the ones I like the best, but it's not like it's a requirement or anything. (look at my "interests" thingie - punk rock, horror movies, art, funny/weird stuff) I'm not looking for any particular kind of relationship, but it's always nice to have somebody new to hang out with or talk to. A good friend is better than a bazillion shitty ones. What kind of people do I like? I like people that who are fun to be with. I like someone who I can fuck around and be silly with, but if it strikes them, can also stay up all night having long conversations about something intellectual. People that are always up for having fun, but if there's nothing to do, also don't mind just doing nothing. I can't stand people that just sit around each other for hours and bitch about how bored they are. Unless you're feeling really depressed and really need just one understanding person to talk to, which I can always be and likewise need myself once in a great while. For the most part, though, I just like finding creative ways to waste time and company to waste it with. If that isn't you, and you just read all that, then hardy-har-har, I just wasted YOUR time, spunk monkey.Gotta meet these people below...
Music:
I like music that doesn't suck. There's alot of shit I like, from punk to classical and in between. Fuck The Beatles. I wanna stomp the flaky pseudo-70's bands into the ground, take a dump on the mediochre hardcore gorilla bands, and personally strangle every pop-infected emo asshole that ruined black clothes and eyeliner for the rest of us. Either inspire me, get my blood pumping, fuck yourself... with vigor.

Television:
Ugh... I HATE teevee!!! That's why I have zero channels on mine. Movies and video games only. There are alot of shows worth watching, but most of'em aren't on anymore.

Heroes:
Do people even have real-life heroes anymore? I know I don't. These days, most people are too well-cared for and informed to have need for a hero. Don't get me wrong, there's plenty of poverty, stilted worldviews, religious fervor, ineffectual politicking, and aggressive ignorance in the world. Somebody who's starving probably doesn't need a role model - more likely they're concerned with feeding their family. Anyone who is naive enough to have a real-life hero is setting themselves up for possibly crippling disillusionment. There are people I respect, and who do things that I admire, but I refuse to idolize any one person... because when you get down to it, that's all they'd be: a person. I admire the Dalai Lama for the way he thinks and the things he does to better the world. I admire my sister for working two jobs and going to college. I admire a social worker for the compassion and surprising insight which she shared with me. Hell, I admire Batman. But I don't somebody to idolize. I would hope most people are intelligent enough to not need somebody to shape themselves to; somebody to base important life decisions on. Sure everybody needs help and guidance sometimes, but it doesn't take a genius to know that you don't need any stupid army to be all you can be. I've learned that if I can make it through the day without my brain imploding, that's pretty damn heroic. I just need to be reminded of that from time to time.
