Geneva Simms works at the Paradigm Agency and as the Events & Sponsorship Director for Junk Magazine; the latter a role that includes total coordination for and planning of events for the publication and its owner, photographer and musician Brad Walsh. Recently Geneva coordinated the extensive corporate sponsorship for Walsh’s debut New York gallery show, hosted by Project Runway winner Christian Siriano and DJs The Misshapes. Her efforts led to an explosive party that received praise from the Village Voice, New York Observer, Fashion Week Daily, and more.
She’s been a recurring mainstay host of events for Paper magazine, Spin magazine's weekly Lewd party, The Musebox, and many more at other legendary New York venues ranging from the Chelsea Hotel in Manhattan to Studio B in Brooklyn. From events at the Delancey and the Annex to more upscale locations like Lotus and Stereo, Geneva has become a nightlife staple. Turning her attention to hosting more events, coordinating event sponsorships, and entering the world of DJing with impossible ease, Geneva is (as Siriano put it) “kind of a big deal.â€
