About Me

The only thing I can be sure of right now is change, and it takes time to get used to that idea. I have yet to procure the art of happy mediums. I live life in extremes; I prescribe to the all-or-nothing approach to life. I don't believe in doing something unless it is going to be done passionately. I pursue only the things I love, and follow through on my endeavors to the highest completion. Going halfway and then turning back takes as much time as finishing what you started.
Lately I have been having the uncontrollable feeling that my entire world is going to change overnight. Maybe it already has. I am rather enamored with the idea of being an explorer; I wander down quiet city streets and pretend I am the first to have walked them in ages. I never turn down an opportunity to try something new. All I really want to do is travel the world and meet as many amazing people as I can while I am doing it...
I am not an artist, everyone is a damn artist these days. I am a candle and a mirror; I illuminate and reflect what is already alive and present, so sadly all i can offer is a different point of view. I write about nothing important, every day.
I don't sleep, hardly ever, my favorite time of the day is that short ambiguous period once the night has ended and before the sun has risen when the world falls silent and I feel like I am the only one alive...
I constantly speak in superlatives. I am finding a lot of "best ever" material lately.
I currently love: reading constantly, writing paragraphs, painting on things i find in the dumpster, hoarding polaroid film, going to shows alone, drawing on just about anything, making music in bedrooms, cutting hair, hawaiian waves, phone conversations that last the entire life of my battery, watching skate videos and tv on dvd, traveling for cheap, cooking and baking, being Canadian, wearing dresses, riding my bike while singing at the top of my lungs, reading the dictionary, being a good hostess, road trips with the windows down the whole way, staying up too late all the time, and best friends.
When I grow up I want to do what makes me happy and be successful at it. At the moment that pursuit is somewhat open-ended, not because I don't know what I want to do, but because there are so many things that I love doing. For now I am on a journey where nothing is definite except for my heart and a strong will to find out exactly who I can be.

My Interests

reading, writing, and arithmetic.

my current projects:

I'd like to meet:

Someone who can rival me in SCRABBLE... or who wants to wash and fold my laundry and then put it all away for me.
Truthfully, I want to know more really genuine people.
I want to meet people who are passionate about something, whether it's art, music, writing, or just living life to its fullest expression.
I want to know more people who aren't afraid to be themselves, but don't take themselves too seriously.
I want more friends who don't wait for you to call them, and who would do anything for each other.
I want to know more people who can hang out on occasion without the company of drugs or alcohol.
I want to meet people who can sit and talk endlessly about everything and nothing without a pause in between.
I want to know more people who aren't opposed to walking around with a smile on their face.
I want to meet anyone who has said "yes," even once, while reading this...
