Sounds Like: In the seventh decade a movement formed called the Zulu Nation formed by Afrika Bambaataa and others unknown by most. Baby Bam's first encounter with this tribe was at a Roller Skating rink in Brooklyn. Later while traveling various projects including the Pink Houses he would hear the same theme of this crew known as the Soulsonic Force. Inspired by the philosophical message and tribal rhythms of the record BabyBam aspired to become a Zulu. Paying homage to the leader Afrika Bambaataa he named himself Afrika Baby Bam aka BabyBam. It reminded him of ancient Afrikan traditions. While the Zulu's ruled from the top down and the world over there was a mirror image of this crew quietly forming in the same sense. BabyBam at this time became nearly completely withdrawn from his Native Tongues. He viewed it as a tribe that couldn't survive the celebrity meat grinder. Culture and bullshit don't mix. Out of his desire to reaffirm his position as the leader of a tribal movement that would inspire new creativity this brother from the was reborn as a Pagan
