In a 2 dimensional, black and white world... I believe in 3-D... scratch and sniff... Technicolor. The poetry of honesty is both the scariest and most essential element of reality.
I realize that everything I know and everything I thought I knew is open to revision and interpretation. Lists are made to be checked off and rewritten fresh with new adventures and challenges. Sometime you just DO have to say what the fuck... throw caution to the wind... hitchhike to see where the road leads... and at the very least embrace the experience with an open mind and heart.
I enjoy a plethora of things including: Velvet Elvises, writing of all sorts, performing, playing team trivia, horseback riding, two-steppin' (I lead, damn it), long walks, a good glass of wine, sushi, throwing caution to the wind... and having real and meaningful soulful conversations. I believe that sometimes I am living in a movie... and sometimes... that movie is Kissing Jessica Stein. I believe that the woman behind the curtain is more interesting anyway... and stealing kisses behind that curtain is hot.
I believe in happily ever after. And... what's more... I believe that I am currently living happily ever after... thanks to the talented and amazing Doctor Hatter who has made all things possible.
My niece and my nephew can light up my heart just by saying they love me... or giving me that hug where they jump into my arms and bury their head in my neck. I enjoy intellectual stimulation, a sense of humor, and the simplicity of Pooh.
Honesty and integrity, a sense of humor and adventure are things I couldn't live without. I can be an intellectual snob at times, I admit it. But, then... sadly, I also can probably tell you what is going on in the latest reality show on tv. I love to laugh and learn. And, it exhilarates me to experience new things. I am a master of chivalry... and enjoy making a woman feel as special as she is.
