Description: Christmas cranked to eleven.History: Sharpe invited Erik to record a song for a charity CD of local radio and TV personalities doing christmas tunes. Since he didn't want to just to "karaoke", Erik recorded an early version of "Let It Snow".
After becoming the most popular song of December 2000 on the local classic rock radio station (even beating out Bob Rivers!), there was enough of a public demand that an album of hard rock christmas classics be made. They ended up releasing two discs: "A Very Hairy Christmas" (2001) and "Going Insane At Christmas" (2002).
The Screaming Santas have since called it a day, but Ty and Erik have forged on with a new band, BOMBAY BLACK who signed with Kivel Records in early 2005. Sharpe & Darrell are playing together again and having fun playing 80's HARD ROCK COVERS in Sharpe Dunaway & The Blue Meanies!
NEWS FLASH!!!
This is NOT a drill. For the first time in FOUR YEARS, the Santas will regroup for a single night. Why, you ask? Well, Sharpe and Darrell are in Sharpe Dunaway & The Blue Meanies and Erik and Ty are in Bombay Black and since both were playing that night, we figured... What the hell!
