Ah, and before she passed away, my grandmother (who had awesome taste in television) used to watch one life to live every day. I would sit and watch it with her, so now it's my vital daily ritual to watch it whenever i can. it's actually a hoot. I love it and i usually just DON"T care for soap operas at all. it's different. I feel like I"m watching it with her. Of course, the downside of it is that when Melissa Archer as natalie comes on the screen... I start drooling and howling at the screen. The real wolfman comes out!! And I don't know if I want to know what grandma thinks when she looks down at me getting like that... My Family is hilarious too -- the british series. Jesus, my GRANDMA and Gandhi -- all very enlightened people everyone can learn from (and NO, I'm not a fundamentalist -- but then I don't think any of them were either. Like Kamal from the jerky boys once said, "I love everyone in this life!" people can be who they are, marry who they want to, etc.) -- and Joseph Campbell, one of the best minds EVER!! oh, and my Canada always includes Rick mercer from this hour, etc. he's freakin' hilarious! I don't know if that makes him my hero though. I just think he's pretty funny.
