Hey everyone! I just wanted to say thank you for visiting my page. The songs you hear were recorded in a freinds studio in austin 2 summers ago. I have completly changed my direction of music. I have decided to use my music to reach others and send out a message. I have a God who I want to serve and praise. Over the past year I prayed a lot about the direction I need to take in my life. Most of the time I tried to plan in out myself. Just this year I decided I can't do it ALL by myself, and I need to hand it over to God.
At this point in my life, at the age of 22, I'm working on getting out of school. I will graduate December 2008. I know after I graduate I will get a job somewhere to survive and make money. It will most like be teaching... since that is the degree I'm getting. My music is really important in my life, and I find it more rewarding for other people and myself to do it for the Lord. I want to minister through my music. If this requires me to start out by trying out for a worship team at some church. Then thats what I will do. I am willing to lay my life down for Gods direction in my life. I surender my whole heart to him. :) So... let the journey begin.
Let me tell you a little about myself. I was born and raised as a "preacher's daughter". My dad started out as a youth pastor, which required me running around trying to be like people a lot older than I. I was most likely that annoying preachers kid that got to go everywhere the YOUTH group got too, but I found it to be the best influence for myself. My dad later became a Minister of his own church right here in Wichita Falls. Being raised in church all my life has allowed me to see the TRUTH of why we are on this earth. I have felt blessed everyday of my life. The thought of knowing I have someone who has never and will never let me fail in life is pretty amazing. I am challenged everyday of my faith my people who do not believe, but with testomony and my faith I truly know WHY I LIVE FOR HIM. Nothing is better than sitting by yourself and entering in the presence of the lord with the music of praise to his name. It is the most peaceful thing and why wouldnt I want to do that for the rest of my life.
I'm also totally outgoing! Love anything outside. Love playing sports (soccer), working out with PUMPIN MUSIC on my ipod labled.. "Tasha's Smashes"! I love to get all dressed up, go to dinner and movies! Im a total romantic at heart, I dream & wish that everyday turns out like a fairytale. I work in a little office part time, while attending Midwestern State University. I love going to church on Sundays and having the family discussion on the PICK of the soup line for the day. :) (yes, we argue). I love Saturday & Sunday afternoons, time to lay low. I love my Diet drinks, chocolate, and crazy about my new Palm Treo 750. I love to plan events! I
