About Me

Tiona Gomez was born in San Diego and raised in Las Vegas. She found her gift in music early on when entered a girl group called Innocence at age 9 with 3 other young girls. Like all first groups it didnâ€™t work out as planned so she ended up going to the Las Vegas Acadamy Performing Arts school where she majored in theatre, choir and dance. Shortly after her sophomore year she was signed to be a singer in a band called Kaminari and worked doing cover gigs at the MGM Grand and the Stratosphere. Unfortunately soon after her mother Vionca Batiste died of a sudden heart attack at age 36, Tiona at 16 couldn’t bare to go on and the band broke up. Since music was imbedded in her soul, she couldn’t stay away from it for too long and started writing lyrics that were not suitable for a teenager but understandable for a rebellious adolescence. Living from place to place and doing any kind of gigs she could find she, 19, eventually was able to get back on track and get on her feet. Moving to Los Angeles alone with only a cousin close to her age to grow with, she was able to start off in music videos, short films and was featured on various artist projects . . . this got the ball rolling. Tionaâ€™s goals are to write songs for other artists and to get signed to a major record label. This young lady is ready to take the entertainment world by storm and start a new era of GREAT MUSIC.
