About Me

“There is more.” Antonio smiled. He told them about the Network and the experiments with the Channel in the Amazon. “Afterwards, when I described Luz Viva to the elders, the idea of an alien consciousness entering a system and residing there, they gave me a funny look.”
He paused. “They said they were certain that what I was talking about had visited before, and on certain occasions it had entered their altered states of awareness. They called it the greater realm, the meeting of earth, mind and sky. This had been happening for generations, as long as ayahuasca had been taken by tribal shamans in the Amazon. Perhaps for thousands of years.”

The Glimmer Fields is an ayahuasca society founded by Antonio da Silva. The group travels to the Amazon rain forest to partake of ayahuasca rituals with the Network, a mystical religious sect led by a shaman named Manuel Reis. The Network uses the Amazonian vine ayahuasca as a sacrament and seeks transcendental consciousness. They ultimately play a role in Baba Ed's quest to contact extraterrestrial intelligences via the Channel in the The Big God Network .
