Consolidating myspaces:
If you want to hear songs from the old Laughter site here they are....(just press pause on the other playlist player)
My interests evolve around family and friends, as well as the best version of healthy Christian fellowship.( the type where people actually care for one another, and are kind.) I like to play music and sing, I sometimes write songs just for fun. I like to tell stories, and sometimes I'm disciplined enough to write them down. I like to stay active in community service. I love the Vineyard Youth Group.
These last two are my personal favorites
I would love to meet:
Bono,( a great talent and a heart to go with it).Paul Haggis, (director, co-wrote, and co-produced the excelent movie Crash).Phil Keaggy who is a great guitarist and interesting Christian.Jackie Pullinger, ( if you're not familiar & to quote wikipedia, "...has been working with the poor in Hong Kong for almost 40 years. She revealed in her book, Chasing the Dragon, that she was called by God to Hong Kong to work amongst drug addicts living in the Kowloon Walled City..."I think Oprah (fairly liberal TV talk Show host)would be fun to sit and chat with; but I'd add someone like Laura Ingraham (downright conservative Radio talk show host), to that mix just to make it more interesting. Also lots of dead people.Mother Teresa,Frank Capra, ( who directed my all time favorite movie).C.S. Lewis,As well as tons of people from the Bible likeDavid, who in battle and in worship always got the job done.John the Baptist, who probably did literally eat bugs.Jael, who single handedly and in a very messy fashion did away with one very evil dude,(don't mind me, I'm a bit tribal at heart, must be the celtic heritage).. and the list goes on...and on...
..
My favorite right now is David Crowder Band. U2. Matt Redman is my favorite Christian song writer. I like a wide variety of music including but not limited to seventies rock, classical, swing, the Irish folk music is very nice. The Beatles were a staple in my home growing up. I like to play meaningful and not lame worsip music.(True worship is never lame, of course, but some music is. Hey, we're only human).
It's a Wonderful Life, Braveheart, Noises Off,(also a play and lol funny), Fiddler on the Roof, Passion of the Christ,(almost too difficult to watch),Cold Comfort Farm, The Princess Bride, Much Ado About Nothing, the original full length film The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh.
Most everything on HGTV. Backyardigans. Wonderpets.I usually watch TV with my grandbabes :)
Prince Caspian and the Voyage of the Dawn Treader by C.S. Lewis, Watership Down, by Richard Adams, Bird by Bird, by Anne Lamott. Ruthless Trust by Brennan Manning is life changing. The Bible is the best reading, but I wouldn't list it here as if it's just a book.
Emily,Alicia, my Mom.
