Formed in January 2004, Picturefilled is the brainchild of vocalist Mamyk, guitarist JP and drummer Kirvy a combination of the psychedelic explosion brought about by a group of young teenagers whose aim was to make others understand that 3 people with different musical influences could actually share the samevision and have some fun. With the addition of Rj (Guitars) and Jawo (Bass) in mid 2004,With the new line-up intact, they started creating music full cycle.Picture Filled was literally a one-night-only group, having formed to play for exactly that: one night. The result of that combination was to prove most exciting for the group as they shared their individual opinions on self-expression and fulfillment. it pushed them to morph into one explosive quintet; one that would share their deepest tragedies and yet ironically express their thanks for it through their songs. music became their outlet.Fast forward to 2007, with the release of their singles “Revenge on the Light” and “Breathing Room” which had regular airplay in the local radio stations in their city. The band has gained a small following which triggered the effort to release their first long awaited album "AWAY FROM TACITURN" a 10 track album filled with raw rhythms and riffs, and as the band says “picturefilled music”. The album which took 3 years to make is a collaborated effort from the band which aims to share their experience with their listeners, songs which would definitely put their audience in a psychedelic experience.
