About Me

The Murmur are an exciting young duo from the midlands consisting of brothers Kevin and James Donaldson. They both sing and play guitar with Kevin taking most of the lead vocals, with James harmonising. They perform in a highly professional manner with charisma and energy.The Murmur perform a varied repertoire of songs which cover many musical genre’s including pop, rock, country and soul. The Murmurs songbook covers most eras of music but concentrates mainly on the classic hits of the fifties and sixties, Including songs from such artists as the Beatles, The Everley Brothers, Simon and Garfunkel and many more.Receiving rave reviews from critics and audiences alike they have played hundreds of concerts in bars, theatres and clubs up and down the country and last summer spent three months as a resident act in Portugal. The Murmur have also gained some valuable television experience, Performing on the BBC on three separate occasions and recently reached the semi finals of the BBC’s “Let Me Entertain You”,(show included on DVD).The Murmur have developed there act and gained valuable gigging experience and now see there future performing on cruise ships and in holiday parks whilst maintaining there bar and club work.
