Submission - metal

Submission started in spring 2003 with the two guitarist, Kasper Kirkegaard and Christoffer Petersen - with a drummer named Thomas ! But he sucked at play real metal and then he was replaced very quickly by our drummer , Morten Loewe Sørensen ! Shortly after , they got Steven Qvist on the vocals and then Submission began to make the real metal shit as you can hear ! All members have a lot of experience and had allready played in several bands and knew what they were up to. They wrote their music to the first demo contained 5 songs, called Submission - Submission ! It was recorded at the local "youth house" in thier own city, by Submission themselves and a friend , mixed and mastered by Jacob Hansen ( invocator ) Hereafter they got the bassplayer Bjarne Christansen with them, then the full line-up ! The demo resulted in a danish metal award for " best selfinansed demo/promo cd " :http://www.danishmetal.dk/Awards2004_vinderne.htmSubmission where actually excited about the award... but knew they could do it a whole lot better than that ! They played a few shows and got back to the rehearsal room where they began to make material for the Pain or Pleasure demo, they where set to make the whole demo at Hansen Studioes (Invocator, hatesphere, mnemic etc) The demo contains 4 numbers and was mixed at antfarm studio - Tue Madsen ( Grope ) The demo was shippet around to a few record labels ... and the band ended up with a deal at http://www.listenable.net ....a deal containing 3 records ! At the same time Submission got an offer to play at the danish Roskilde-Festival wich was the biggest ever had happened to the band , and personally in the band. Hereafter it was so seriously that they had to get a new bassplayer, and that was Boris Tandrup from former Autumnn Leaves, and bands for now.. slugs - scavenger. Boris made the full line complete, as sounds and stageperformance !!Where Submission is standing right now, is to record their full-lenght album at 17/9 - 23/9 at Hansen studioes - drums and guitars - 10th of october , bass - vocals and mixing at antfarm studioes !Thats the history until now----- updates will follow as the bands career goes forward !!UPDATE - Submission´s debut record is finished !! After a hard working couple of months the record are finally finish ! The vocals was recorded at antfarm studioes with Tue Madsen ( grope - mnemic - caliban - the haunted ) and it sounds fucking killer ! The cd is titled " failure to perfection " and are in stores!The album has recieved some great great reviews - 6/7 german MetalHammer - 5/6 NRG Danish mag - 9/10 666metal.com 9/10 and many other. In nov 2006 Submission also won two awards at the big sensation - The Danish Metal Awards in the categories "Debut-album of the year" & "Metaltrack of the year" wich included some money - Submission is very proud of get the two awards, as they where nominated in. BIG NIGHT!Right now Submission has stopped the future work with their label, Listenable Records because of disagreements on budgets, promotion, tour and so on - Submsision is now on the lookout for a label who will take the bands interests, the drive and hunger to tour seriously!! Submission is currently making all new material and its soo much more orignial than the debut-album, it will rip you apart with with a lot of straight to your face metal and a lot of catchy and big chorusses - this cant go wrong if the descent label get in contact with us !
