BIO
Born in Milan, Italy, active since 2002, Black Sand propose a lethal mix of Thrash/Death Metal (main influences: Slayer above all, then Nevermore, Testament, Coroner, etc…) focused on the constant research of the “perfect†riff, techno-groove inspired, never ending in itself.
Line-up is basically unchanged since the beginning except for the singer.
After some changes, in September 2006 the long time friend Marco finally joined the band. His clear HC background gave a further, if possible, adrenaline injection to the Band’s sound.
Concerning live experience, the Band is active on the main rock-metal North Italy locations.
Black Sand realized two 4-tracks demos (“Human Dust†in 2004 and “Demo 2005â€) and a brand new 9-tracks full-length entitled “INFECTEDâ€.
The album is self-produced and has been recorded mixed and mastered into their own professionally equipped recording studio.
With a repertoire of about 30 original songs, Black Sand are able to offer an exciting full-emotion extra-energy live show.
