About Me

I have learned of resent that life is to short. One must live life, don't worry about the bullshit, get rid of the baggage, love your friends and have fun. Change is good.~ I am originally from CA, OR, WA with a pitstop in PA. My formative years were spent in the San Francisco Bay Area where I was quite involved in the SF punk scene. What an amazing time! I love to travel to the not so common places and experience culture. I am a long time vegetarian and a trained pastry chef but choose to suffer through my finance job on a daily basis. Trying to do something to change that. I love photography, especially old school, but learning to embrace digital. I miss all my grey haired friends in Seattle.

My Interests

Animal welfare, environmental issues, snowshoeing, architecture, classic motorcycles and cars, great beer and vodka, photography and music. And of course always hating Geo W and company.

I'd like to meet:

I like to be around people who are creative, progressive, thoughtful, considerate and who don't have a problem with me swearing.

Quodia, Planet X, Bill Frisell, Floratone, Viktor Krauss, Paul Morossy, Jeff Beck, Peter Gabriel, Robert Fripp, Roxy Music, Allan Holdsworth, Tony Levin, Tim Sanz, The Stranglers, Hugh Cornwell, Pearl Jam, Killing Joke, The Chameleons, Joy Division, Peter Murphy, Kate Bush, and most of what was on Ralph Records label in the 1980's. Always on the look out for new music.

Movies:

Blade Runner, American Beauty, Motorcycle Diaries, Thank You for not Smoking, Fight Club and the Station Agent are a few favorites.

Books:

Mostly non-fiction. I read only a few fiction writers. First being Kevin O'Brien as he is a friend. He writes mysteries based in Seattle/Portland area. Second, Jeffrey Archer (yeah, so he spent a couple of years in prison...but he is a politician after all) and last but certainly not least Edgar Allen Poe. I also love the art and humor of Edward Gorey.

Heroes:

Everyday people who help make the lives of animals or people better.Also Kevin Schwantz, Randy Mamola, King Kenny Roberts, Freddy Spencer, Eddie Lawson and Wayne Rainey. Amazing motorcyclist who dominated the F1 racing in the 1980/1990's. These gentlemen did not get the recognition they deserved in the US. These guys are as good as it gets on two wheels. Hats off to all of you!
