This profile was made for strictly professional reasons. My status says "Married" because I had to pick one and they didn't have an option for my status. I'm NOT available. I don't instant message or hang .. in hopes to get my ego stroked or to flirt ..nothing like that is appealing to me. Please read the Check It Out blog! I am the founder of ZiRy and as such I will hip you to a wee bit of info about myself. My first name is Michayla, but only a couple of people call me that. I won't respond to it. I go by my middle name which is Zia ..most call me Z or Doc. I am a Psychologist with 4 BAs, 2 Masters and most recently and finally -(maybe) my PhD. (Not bragging at all ..it's amazing how strong your voice becomes the higher the degree you attain ..pieces of paper stating how much schooling you have completed makes them hear you a bit better when you are trying to achieve goals for abused children and save their lives. When it comes to saving children ..ALL voices should be heard no matter what, it shouldn't take degrees to make people listen. But ..I had to do what I had to do for the babies [0-19 years old ..sometimes older]). I work with severely abused children and abused, disabled children ..or anyone that needs an ear. Yep ..there are maggot cowards out there that abuse incapacitated children. I'm not a conventional psychologist and have been told by several colleagues that I'm not all there myself. I don't believe in textbook psychology because no one person is the same mentally or emotionally. School was just the guidelines and the means to get in the field of helping those who cant help themselves. Trial, error and being out there in the middle of hell with those I try to help is how I learn. I volunteer as much of the time I can to the community. I have several projects going on at all times. My personal time is sparse, to say the least. I like it that way. Aside from my career I decided to pursue a dream I have had for a very long time. I took courses in 2005 to learn about electronics and woodworking. To enhance my guitar making skills, and become licensed. I'm happy to say I finished my classes and became certified in December of 2005. Though I have been making guitars for quite some time, I am now making custom made guitars, surf boards and other ZiRy products. Production on guitars began in October of 2005. Each guitar is hand crafted to the individuals wants and tastes. No two guitars are alike, unless a client wants a duplicate. 95% of all profits made from these guitars (and now surf boards and other ZiRy products) goes toward child abuse victims and drunk driver victims of the clients choice, to honor my love of children and the memory of my late husband and son. At this time we are no longer taking clients from my space or the Slutnet, period!!. However I have left the space open to help promote many Talented and Exceptional Artists that my life has been blessed enough to encounter, and other reasons.
I have been widowed for 11 years now. I lost my amazing best friend/husband and perfect, precious son to a drunk driver when my gorgeous husband was just 20 and our beautiful son was 9 months old. I have zero tolerance for drunk drivers. I do not date or get into that scene at all. I don't have time and I'm just not interested in the game. It's Amazing how love finds you when you aren't looking. Now that I have finished my schooling, am no longer performing to help promote the business, doing benifit shows and sitting in on guitar with friend's bands ..I'm taking this time to focus on the business, my profession as a Psychologist, a few other projects I have my hands in, as well as having a somewhat "normal" life ..a personal life. I'm half Sicilian and half Cherokee ..so this means if you piss me off ..I'll shoot you first and then scalp you. By the way ..when pissing me off becomes an option, you'll be the first to know. I am financially secure and very independent. I would like to think I am a very caring, loving, understanding and open-minded person. But I am human. I have a very high set of Morals and Ethics. I believe in old-fashioned Honor, Loyalty and Respect. I own three homes, One in South Carolina, one in North Shore Hawaii and the newest in Pungo, Va. No I am not one of those people that need to have a house everywhere. When I need to move from a house I have bought. I rent the houses I leave to families who need a home, at a price they can afford. The house on the North Shore gets rented out for a very low price to families who have always wanted to vacation in Paradise but could never afford accommodations and travel expenses both. (Guess where the rent money on those homes goes?!) No I'm not some huge extravagant person who thinks they are something I'm not. I don't touch a dime of money for personal use, that I don't work hard to get with in my profession as a Psychologist. I have been very blessed. I also have a cabin in Cherokee, NC. That's my ..I'm running away spot ..haha. I have two vehicles ..My 67 rag top mustang that I received for my birthday from my boys in 2005 and my late husbands 69 GTO. Just got another SUV to replace the last one, for travel reasons. I'm pretty much all set. I'm not high maintenance. I believe in working hard for what you want and living with in your means. I'm not impressed by money, or stature. Been around that sort of thing all of my life and have seen the worst of ugly in it. As well as, the ugliest, most vile things can come in the prettiest of packages. I like things simple and from the heart. Example: A dozen roses will do nothing for me but make me wonder what the hell is wrong with you, that you are trying so hard to impress me. A small hand picked bouquet of wildflowers and I know you see and think with your heart and soul ..not just your eyes and mind. I have jet black hair and very light gray eyes and tan skin. I know ..weird. I have a few piercing and a few tattoos. My favorite thing to tell people that annoy the piss out of me is too Fuck Off and Evolve. I think that sums up how I feel about them nicely. Im a pretty easy going person, but a very private person as well. It takes a lot to even start to get in and a lot more to gain my trust. I pretty much love everything and everyone, until his or her attitude and behavior proves me wrong for doing so. I am willing to help anyone once. If I ever do interact with someone ..try to keep in mind that I speak 5 languages and English isn't my first language. I am pretty well versed in most slang ..but I still get the "What the Heck" look on my face at times. I don't associate with people who are selfish, self centered, self gain, immature, materialistic, deceptive, lying, using, coward maggots. That just described about 95% of beings of the world. Yep, I know it's harsh ..but sadly true. It's all Good!!
I have adopted the symbol of the teardrop for my site in sympathy of all the desperate and lonely tears shed by the children who day after day and night after night, silently endure the pain inflicted on them by their heartless abusers (Fucking Cowards ..Pick on someone your own size)
