About Me

FIRST: CHECK OUT Becky Chappell’s Page (My sister) She’s in the Top 8 and a great musician.

Back when southern rock bands were king and a fifth of Jack Daniels was a resonable lunch and a damn good dinner, I was a musician based out of Lubbock Texas. During that time Lubbock had a very active music scene. (and still does) I was lucky to be a part of it. I had the pleasure of working with many great musicians during that time like (not in any order) Cary Banks, Jack Tyson, Pete Daia, Wally Moyers, Jr., Lloyd Maines, Cal Freeman, Chris Wilkerson, Paul Culver, Don Jones, Steve Williams, Danny Darling, Tony Adams and many others. I quit music for a long time then my nephew acquired interest in music which renewed my interest. My nephew is one of the lucky few who has a tremendous talent. He is a great singer/songwriter. With that said, I write songs and do home recording of my stuff because its fun and (at least in my mind) keeps me connected to music. I use a drum track and play all the other instruments. That way I’m not dependant on outside sources. Ive put 3 of my tunes up if you like them, COOL or if you think they suck also COOL. Thanks for stopping at my page.
