Once in a great while a group of guys come together from all walks of life, with different musical influences, and diverse personalities. While each being unique, together as one, they create something magical. Hybrid L formed back in 2003 as a four piece rock band out of the Macon Georgia area. The band honed their skills and began writing and performing in their hometown area. The fan base started small, but after just a few shows, the size continued to grow, the buzz began to build. In 2005, Hybrid L decided to expand the lineup to a 5 piece, allowing front man Jeff Sutton, full reign of the stage to captivate the audience. Their relentless touring and high energy live shows paved the way for them as they exploded into the forefront of unsigned Modern Rock bands. Jagermeister, Arko, and Level 27 clothing, No Fear clothing, In-Tune Guitar picks took notice and jumped onboard as sponsors for Hybrid L, representing them proudly as they grow throughout the country and the industry.
From Louisiana to Arkansas to Florida and Ohio and Kentucky, and everywhere in between touring, they have shared the stage with artists such as: Staind,Shinedown, Buckcherry, Hinder, Rob Zombie, Trapt, Saliva, Theory of a Deadman, Revelation Theory, , Mudvayne, Tantric, ,Faktion, Hurt, Alterbridge, Submersed, Silvertide, The Jagermeister Music tour 2005 and 2006, Livestock 15 (Tampa,FL) and much more! The title track "Face Me Not" from their second CD was featured on the soundtrack in an independent film, "Roulette", released in late 2005.They now have well over 500 shows under their belt, and have played for crowds of up to 20,000 people, knocking them dead at every turn. With three independent CD releases, their highly anticipated fourth CD, "Fourplay",produced by Corey Lowery (Dark New Day/Stereomud) was released in May of 2007. All the while, this band has remained in touch and in tune with what has brought them this much success within their musical careers, and that is writing and recording some of the best songs of their lives, and at each stop, the crowds feel it, live it, and relate to the 5 guys who pour their entire hearts and souls into every minute of every show. "Here's a band with more potential than should be legal. I have watched this band from their beginning and they have yet to stop amazing me. From their intense and energetic live shows to the seriousness with which they approach song writing, this is a band that will do great things."-Greta, Q106FM "Offering catchy rock tunes executed consistently during their live shows with precision and high energy, they always deliver the goods to a constantly growing fan base wave that originated from a ripple in a small pond near Macon, GA."-Jagermeister Tour Magazine Spring 2005.
