FIRST CHANCE I GET I'M OUT OF HERE

A couple of years back, I made an album at home called ‘First Chance I Get I’m Out Of Here’. It never got proper distribution at the time. (Although I found if you threw them hard enough they’d go a couple of feet.) As a result, only folk who new what I was about, or discovered it by random, ever got hold of a copy. Since then, we’ve stepped up the project a gear and the album has now been given proper distribution through Genepool, part of the Universal group. The album consists of 15 tracks. These include ‘Dave?’, ‘Progress Has Stopped’ and ‘Wonderful Thing’. Two of my old school buddies, Kirk Luck & Mark Browne, provide guitar solos on a couple of tracks. Martin Grech (www.myspace.com/martingrechofficial) appears on 3 of the tracks providing vocals and additional guitar in places. It is available to order through high street stores and available from all good download sites from April 23rd. If you feel inclined to order a physical copy from your local stockist you will need this vital info: ‘First Chance I Get I’m Out Of Here’ by John Zealey, Gaia Media Records, CatNo. GMRCD13, distributed by Genepool.”

About friend requests
You'll notice that my friend list is not massive. Here's why...All are welcome here. I love music and will try and checkout every request from a band when I can, however you will need to message me first. The amount of random band requests from software and street teams in the last few months has been insane.
What's interesting is that requests from bands who have similar influences to me, and obviously checked out this page to find out, are usually pretty good. The others usually have high friend counts and suck. For this reason, band requests are disabled on my page. Send me a message and I'll happily check you out when I can.
I pretty much accept/add most requests as long as you are a band or a genuine MySpacer and not a service or random tart. If you are a band whose genre is way off track from what I’m into, a message would help to prove you are not a piece of software. I will only make friend requests to those who like similar music to me, or that sound good!!
A comment about comments
Please feel free to comment on my songs or just say ‘hi’ or pretty much anything you want. If you wanna plug your single or event or sell your dog or whatever, that’s fine too, but if your comment is void of any personal content it will be removed. I will presume you are a robot and haven’t even bothered checking out the page. Prove to me you are real! Also HTML is a 'no no'. I hate spangly kak. Christmas, bah, humbug.
REMEMBER: ROBOTS ARE NOT OUR FRIENDS! But I do wanna be yours.
