The Debutantes beamed down to Puttenham, England in late 1996. After a short time adapting to the unfamiliar climatic conditions of their new world, they started recording some of the most excitingly dark and perverse symphonies the Earth had ever heard.
The song-writing team of the beings known as Reece Fairfield and Phil Dean was a winning combination, and many adrenalin fuelled energy packed live shows and several abductions later The Debutantes were poised to eclipse U2 as the worlds biggest rock-band.
Then a distress call from their home planet Steve II forced the galactic heroes back into space, leaving behind only a collection of self-pressed singles and a post-humously released compilation album "Strange Tales from Another Galaxy". And the rest is future.
Guitarist Phil recently returned to Earth (well Australia anyway) and formed a new band Zeptepi. Keyboard legend Sparky Watts morphed completely into a Moog, and spends his days on a beach in Epsilon 5. Reece Fairfield is now Dark Overlord of the entire western hemisphere of the Milky Way.
