About Me

Hi, I'm Dale, lead singer with the now defunked band Pincer... I say defunked, but that's not exactly true... we never split up, we just never got round to doing anything after we released our debut album in August 2001... that picture of me is from the opening gig at the Witchwood in Ashton-under-Lyne (Manchester, England.)
I'm a bloke, as you probably gathered and I'm not young... well maybe at heart... I'm an old rocker who never wanted to grow up, like Peter Pan, but without the green tights... and the ability to fly... well actually, nothing like Peter Pan really!!!!
I still feel like a teenager, but those days are long since gone, vannished into the dim and distant past... Hey my daughter is nearly a teenager now!!!!!!
But I still kick the proverbial ass when rocking!!!!!
Anyway, I'll stop mumbling on and on about my age and how I wish I was still young etc... etc... etc...

I'd like to meet:

I'd really like to meet John Lennon, yeah I know, 27 years too late... never mind eh... there's still a chance with Paul and Ringo though...

Einstein would be an interesting dinner guest, although I'm not sure I could keep up with the depth of conversation!

My ultimate "would like to meet" would have to be Gene Simmons... he's a guy who's done it all (and then some)!!!!!

Music:

Rock, rock and more rock!!!!!

My favourite band of all time ever without exception is The Beatles.

I also love AC/DC, Saxon, Accept, Motley Crue, Purple, Rainbow, Whitesnake, Kiss, Sabbath, Def Leppard, Twisted Sister, Guns 'n Roses...

In the modern ilke I'm partial to Nirvana, Foo Fighters, Linkin' Park... a tiny bit of Marilyn Manson, Korn...

Movies:

Spider-man, Spider-man 2 and (although I've not seen it yet I know I'm gonna love it) Spider-man 3!!!

Blazing Saddles, anything by Monty Python, The Frighteners (with Michael J Fox) all the Back To The Future films, anything with Laurel And Hardy (talkies especially).

Television:

The Simpsons, QI, Never Mind The Buzzcocks, Have I Got News For You...

Books:

The Chronicles Of Thomas Covenant (All of them, even the new ones... although I've yet to get the second in the new series), Empyrion By Stephen Lawhead (Amazing book)! The Shannara Books by Terry Brookes (Not got round to the new ones yet though!)

My dear departed Mum and Dad... what a lovely old couple they were... They were my guides, best friends and greatest antagonists... just like mums 'n dads should be... I miss them so much every single day!!!!
