The Lines

About Me

Comparisons have been made to many a great bands of the past, most notably the sonic guitar histrionics of The Verve, but with influences stretched from Radiohead to The Rapture, The Lines deliver their songs with masses of energy and depth. It’s the amazing single-minded belief, coupled with an explosive live sound and songs with timeless melodies, that point to Alex, Chris, Dean & Ryan being destined for big things in 2008.

News of sold out local shows quickly spread to promoters up and down the country, and invitations came to support artists such as The Twang, The Charlatans, Editors, Jack Penate, Supergrass, The Holloways, Pigeon Detectives, Babyshambles, Little Man Tate and The Maccabees to name just a few.
