About Me

Real Hip Hop Is All About Compassion...Please Help By Donating Whatever You Have to Spare to the American Red Cross for the Victims of Hurricane Katrina...Yes I Have Donated Myself
ExpLo, sometimes referred to as XpLo has been on the Chicago hip hop scene for the past four years. Regarded as an activist, songwriter, and music producer, ExpLo doesn't let a single second go by unproductive. He has banged out beats for a handful of unsigned artists in the Chicago area. Always on the indie music scene, he does not limit himself to just the hip hop genre. He has produced for hip hop acts, R&B acts, and once, even a rock band. ExpLo is the sole member of EP Productions. Why would he call it a company if there's only one member? To this he says, "We originally began with four members, but due to mutual agreements, we decided to go our separate ways. I mean I'm hands on with everything on the music. One second I'm on the turntables, the next I'm on the keyboards, then I'm spitting into the mic, mixing the vocals and the instrumentals down...I really am a one man team." His music is felt by a wide range of audiences, and it speaks for itself. He made it all the way to the 2004 Chicago Hip Hop Idol Semi-Finals sponsored by WGCI after wowing the judges. He continues to split his time between making music, and being a human rights activist.
