I am a 1 1/2 year old Jack Russell and if you know anything about my breed you'll know that I am extremely loyal to my human family. I am forever waiting to be served at the dinner table (see pic)--unfortunately, I am still waiting. My food bowl sits next to my furry brother's bowl on the floor in the kitchen. Thatcher, my furry brother, is a 13 year old JR Terrier--he is slower than he used to be but I can still see a certain spark in his eyes. I have learned alot from him and I like to think I give him a little spring in his step at times.I love small rodents and I LOVE walking...and RUNNING (!) and if there is one thing I have learned from Thatcher is that if you can push through the screen door with enough force you can break free! Except, unlike Thatcher, I do come when I am called. I love bouncy superballs and can toss one and chase it all on my own. I have another furry brother Cecil who is a Maine Coon Cat...he definitely does not look like me at all but I know he is my brother. I get a funny feeling when he walks up to me slowly and rubs his body against mine and his fluffy gray tail just grazes my nose--I stand so still almost like a statue. I can only maintain my composure for so long and then I HAVE to immediately turn around and chase him. I am able to jump up on the kitchen counter which allows complete access to the stovetop to check to see what is on the dinner menu. It took my owners a while to figure out that whether or not the stool was pushed up against the counter made no difference at all--I could still jump up. It is so simple. It is fun watching the 'thought process' of my human--it can be very comical and absolutely "head-tilting".I am constantly reminded of how pretty and adorable I am--I love back rubs ESPECIALLY before bed.Oh, did I mention that I am so smart it is almost scarey!R.I.P Thatcher June 24, 1992-October 11,2006-WE ALL MISS YOU!
