Right out of Sweden, the third largest music exporter in the world, comes Malin - the new chick rock star! Only 20 years old, but ready to take on the world in a fashionable manner. With world renowned producers behind her back and an international manager in front of her, she is bound to reach the stars!
Malin was born in the beautiful seaside town of Halmstad, Sweden. "Ever since I was born, in the middle of a mess back in 1988, during a wedding, I have always been the girl wanting to be the 'center of attention'" - she says. And at the center of attention she is!
Her debut album is due for release in spring 2008, and the japanese market has already shown interest in her music. The music itself can be described as catchy, riffy, emotional and very personal, with strong influences of American counterparts such as Avril Lavigne and Pink.
The album is still being recorded, but keep your eyes and ears open - more songs will be posted very very soon!
