It is why I encourage rockers as well as rappers to be on the same stage and share. It really warmed my heart to hear this from the Legendary Smokey Robinson! LCV is a television production, showcasing aspiring local artists in all areas of entertainment. Every episode showcases local music artist dance tracks, DJ's, live musical talents (bands, groups, solo artists), dancers and talent from all walks of life as your hosts and hostesses. For 8 shows, all entertainers perform and you the audience is asked to go to the website (to be announced) to vote on who you wish to go to the semi-finals, which we call "On the Four - the semi finals." These four shows spotlight interviews of the talent you choose to move on to our season finale, called "The Big Show" and get the title Local Celebrity! It is the desire of producer, Toni Monteiro to build a plateform for local artist and entertainers to gain recognition and boost careers to the next level through media exposure.

If you are local talent interested in participating on Local Celebrity Video, please visit www.magnificenceproductions.com under current projects and drop us an email with your name, type of talent, how many tracks on demo, if you wish to perform, provide tracks for air play, or videos for selection. We will return your email with further information to get you on your way.

___ Local Celebrity Video is currently looking for sponsors and or Executive Producer(s) interested in keeping a no nonsense, non-exploiting plateform for local area performers. Please contact me through this page for more information. Local Celebrity Video would like to meet all artists in the Washington, DC metropolitan area who currently have a three song demo who would love a venue in which to perform, display their talents and abilities and to help gain a wider audience. Talent can submit tracks for the DJ Local Artist Spin - a six minute segment that features music from local artists for the audience to dance and get their groove on. Songs are also spotlighted for the "Dance Off" section where selected audience members have 1 minute to show off their stuff. Live performances are also featured and interviewed by contestant host and hostesses, also competing for a spot in the finale "The Big Show." And for those who have videos - we spotlight two videos per show, from which 4 are selected to move on to "The Big Show" as Best Local Celebrity Video! Local Celebrity Video would also like to meet other public access producers interested in our cause who would like to host us on their public access stations as a host or guest executive producer. Contact your local public access stations and get involved!!!!!!

Television:

DCTV is the District of Columbia Public Access Corporation, in Washington, DC. They can be seen in Washington, DC on Comcast Channels 95 & 96 and RCN (sat/dish) 10 & 11. (Local Celebrity Video airs on Comcast 95 and RCN 10)
