The Band started when two friends working in the largest music superstore in the south, BONNERS of Eastbourne, thought they would bring their love of Jazz Funk music to the public domain. The band is blessed with serious musicianship and songwriting ability. The two friends who started the PD ball rolling are top Hammond Organist and Keyboard player ROD POOLEY and TOM ASKAROFF, who is simply a superb quality funk guitarist. Their good friend JAMES ASHER is the bands percussionist who drives the Jazz Funk groove along with amazing skill and dynamic range and doing the low end with awesome skill on bass guitar is MATT COOPER. The latest addition to the band is EMMA LOUISE, who provides the vocals and lyrics for the bands tracks. Pebble Dash is currently busy completing an original set of Jazz Funk songs and will be going public as from May 17th at Eastbourne Bandstand.All the best
PD '08 Â Latest News! Eastbourne based jazzfunk Pebbledash is the latest signing to James Ashers' Starfield label. This clip features excerpts of their debut gig at the bandstand Eastbourne. The lineup in the band is Tom Askaroff (guitar), Emma Louise Meeres (vocals), Rod Pooley (keyboards), Matt Cooper (bass) and James Asher on drums, who will also be producing their first album.
