About Me

Brandon Bonnee aka Phokus has been rockin the dancefloors and producing beats for nearly a decade. The style ranges from bass heavy nu skool rollers to down tempo dream weavers. Phokus now unleashes the soundwaves on the crowd with the help of his trusty Imac, Ableton Live, and a midi controller, remixing live and dropping fresh productions before they are released. With tracks on labels such as Ritual Sounds, Desert Traxx, and Pacific Front recordings Phokus has gained the attention from DJ's all around the world. Look out for the latest remix on Ritual Sounds for a track called "Quake" by Suspender from the Los Angeles Breakbeat Association. Available on beatport January 1st. Also, look out for his first vinyl release on Left Coast Techno 001, with a track called Blackhole burnout, which features remix's by techno pioneers Aaron Liberator and The Geezer. Available now (hit me up for details). Phokus has also been working with other local artist such as Mr.Rogers, Dirt, Psylence, and Athena, coming up with various sound experiments and dancefloor killers.
