Kenny describes himself as being a person who has the best of two worlds...musician & educator. The two passions could be interchangeable at anytime, because he is just that about both...PASSIONATE! But he could never give either one up. He has prided himself in winning the hearts of adults and children as well. How you may ask? His humble demeanor, calming disposition, and patience draws attention to this compassionate black male.As an Educator:Most think that Kenny teaches music to children. But he decided long ago that the classroom of teaching math, science, social studies, and language arts would be more beneficial to him. He found immediately that if children could be happy about coming to school, that they could excel in anything. His philosophy about education is..."We will never know all the answers, but how hard will we work to find them out?" He’s never afraid to say that he doesn’t know, but with effective studying comes an answer.As a musician:Kenny wears his emotions of music on his sleeve. Because music is ALWAYS in him, when he plays, everything is left on stage. He says that he just can’t help that. Many people have told him that they feel that his playing is their therapy. Their day is better after they witness these emotions.If you ever get the chance, check him out. Better yet, hold a conversation with him. He believes his next endeavor may be a comedian.
