I’m Skye Dumont, a 17 year old singer/songwriter. I was born on April 25, 1990. I grew up in Brookfield Connecticut/Navarre Florida. I first found a love for singing when I was three years old. My mother lived in her boyfriend’s at the time whom was also a songwriter and I would spend hours on end recording in his studio with him. The first time I sang in his studio, I sang "Come to my window" a cover song By: Melissa Ethridge. The first time someone other than being in my family told me I had a great voice was when I was 7. We were in church and I was singing louder than everyone else, but in an operatic voice. I found out I had a love for performing and touching people with my instrument. Being on stage gives me the most amazing INDESCRIBABLE feeling. I’m in love with it. In elementary school I won several talent shows, and at age 10 my mother put me into voice lessons with Mrs. Sabrina George. By age 14 I could sing in 6 different languages of opera and had accomplished learning several arias, it took me 4 years of vocal training to learn all these steps. By then I had also learned how to play the piano and violin quite well. When I was 15, I shot a couple of homemade music videos with my mother’s ex boyfriend. In the summer of 2007 I auditioned for American Idol, they turned me down saying "I am talented but they wanted more outrageous people”. I was voted best musician for senior superlatives. I packed my resume full of shows and learning workshops of my craft. I have performed in front of audiences from as large as 200 to 2000 people in certain cases. In the fall I’m going to Florida State University, to get a bachelors in commercial music and vocal performance. I am a very determined and hardworking person. I go to school and work at my job from 7-8 hours a day. My real passion is singing soul, pop, and R&B, but I want to set myself apart from other artists and star in operas around the world as well. Making music and entertaining is my life, my dream, and passion. I can’t picture myself doing anything else in my life except singing. I know the road is long and tough, but I can finally say that I’m ready to show the world something that everyone can relate to. I am determined and nothing will stop me or get in my way.

Without further or do, let me begin by introducing myself. I’m one of three children in my family. I go by the name of "Da Biznezzz aka Bize" born Brandon Mah on February 24, 1988, growing up in Queens, New York. Music is my life, my dream, my passion. Music’s always been part of my life ever since a young age. I found myself recording other artists’ songs on a tape recorder along with my older brother Jay. As time passed by I began to create my own songs and write lyrics with the help of a classmate, whom wrote my first verse for me in elementary school. Studying and reviewing how to structure a verse I began creating lyrics on my own and also started to record music at a local neighborhood studio. After receiving a little guidance from the local studio it was about time to get serious. But my whole story to where I am today started in about 2003. I ran into a woman, who stopped me randomly on the street and told me out the blue that every Saturday night at the Rock Church in Elmhurst, Queens, New York, there were auditions for an open mic competition for performers of all ages. She insisted I should try out without her having any knowledge of me being a “rapper”. At first I wasn’t going to stop to speak to her because I was in a rush but something in my mind told me to stop and listen to what she had to say. The following Saturday I gave it a shot, for what reason I have no idea. When I got there she introduced me to a man named Quincy Gibbs aka Q. Q saw the drive I had when it came to making music and decided to work with me. We recorded music and performed shows in front of 200 to 2000 people. Now, 5 years later Quincy and I are still working together, myself as an artist and Q as my manager, but also close friend. Throughout these 5 years I have worked for Bad Boy Entertainment and Power Moves Inc along with my younger brother. I learned a lot about the marketing side of the music industry. However, I had to part my ways with Bad Boy Entertainment to help better myself career wise. There is no other space as comfortable as the one I am currently in and that space is Hood Riot Music Inc.
