About Me

Myspace Codes by PimpMyCom
DANCER/SINGER/PHOTOGRAPHER/ACTRESS/DIRECTOR/MODEL in the making...
I'm originally from New Jersey and have lived in the suburbs of Toronto since 1988.
I've modeled for Kappa clothing (kappacanada.com then click on the soccer ball, then "Kulture", "Media" then "Print Ads" and my ads are the 7th and 8th pictures on that page. The ads that I have modeled for ended up in magazines such as "Performance Auto & Sound" magazine, as well as a Canadian fashion magazine called "Strut" magazine.
I have modeled for my friend's store in Weston (west Toronto) called Fu & Fallon Accessories (myspace.com/fuandfallonaccessories).
I have been in a music video called "Exotic Sugar" by Bobby Dreadfull.
I love acting- I did a few television segments here and there- including some stuff on Bite TV (bitetv.ca), a Canadian comedy channel with a lot of pointless yet humorous gags. My last acting project was entitled "DotCoffee" and it was a student pilot- and it was so much fun!!
Photography is one of my favorite things to do- I love the use of perspective and lighting on an object that has so much beauty that you have to capture that moment. The best photos aren't posed or planned- the most beautiful things in life are pretty random.
I've been singing since I was about 9 years old- but professionally since I turned 17. Not professionally singing in the sense that I got a record deal, but I mean getting paid to travel the world. I've already traveled through about 18 countries (including Greenland, Kuwait, United Arab Emirates, Greece, England) in my 22 years singing for various types of crowds including the Canadian Armed Forces, and enjoying the experience of different cultures and customs.
The catch about me singing: I'm a part-time celebrity impersonator to Shakira and I have been an understudy for the Pussycat Dolls tribute, so when I'm on stage, it's more like acting than anything.
I have had the opportunity, through my agency, of working with celebrity makeup artist, Korby Banner, of "Style by Jury" fame, who not only did my amazing makeup, but also took the pictures for my Shakira tribute photo shoot. I love him- he's the best!
During the same shoot, people from MTV were there to take photos of me and the other tributes for the 2002 MTV Video Music Awards program booklet entitled "Church of Worship". The cover of the book had an Elvis look-alike on the cover. The book was distributed to everyone attending the awards show. The photographer of the booklet is Dewey Nicks, who also directed the movie "Slackers". He was so much fun to work with as well!
I have been dancing since I was about 4 years old or younger... I took ballet/jazz classes in New York State, and I have belly danced since I was 17.
I have been writing concepts for when I one day direct a movie, and have been on and off shooting footage for my first documentary. It's more a hobby than anything right now.
I love rock. All genres of music are good to me though. I cannot stand quiet rooms.
I am TAKEN, though if I weren't, I definitely wouldn't look for anything on myspace- so if by chance any of you myspace perverts is actually reading this: please DO NOT SEND ME PERVERTED MESSAGES!!!
Look at the sidebar on may page that lists a shit load of bands I like and please check them out- they're ALL good!! Always remember to support CANADIAN talent of all shapes, sizes and genres because without them, us Canadians would just be known for our incredible beer, fresh mary jane, and the "dogsleds, huskies, ice fishing and mounted police, saying 'eh', and 'aboot' " stereotypes! :)

Books:

"The Claiming of Sleeping Beauty" (by A.N. Roquelaure, better known as Anne Rice) is the book I am currently reading. Very well-written as it is interesting. I also enjoy any books on investment, science, psychology and history.

Heroes:

Any photographer that has mastered the art of photography
Floria Sigismondi (director for "The Beautiful People" video for Manson, and director for "Fighter" by Christina Aguilera).
David LaChapelle (great director/photographer- he did the "Dirrty" vid by Christina Aguilera, "Feeling This" by Blink 182, and a bunch of commercials and camapaigns that, if you push pause on any part of them, each freeze frame looks like a great photograph!! He also did some of the "Got Milk?" ads)
Ron Howard (actor turned the director of "The DaVinci Code" movie has my respect!)
People in the bands I've listed. They are hard working individuals who have brought the world great tunes, and will continue to inspire me to work hard at whatever I do. Thanks to all the bands I've listed for exsisting (whether I know/knew you or not) you're all great!!
Korby Banner (korbybanner.com), makeup artist from "Style By Jury". He did my makeup for my Shakira Impersonations photoshoot back in 2002. He's the best!!!
Any musicians/artists/writers that have mastered their craft, and still remain humble, knowing there's always room to evolve. I have encountered only a few artists like that, and no matter what, I'll continue to support and respect their art.

David Suzuki (whom I got had the honour of being on the same plane with him in B.C. a few years back)
Kyle Maynard (the author of the autobiographical book entitled "No Excuses", which I suggest that you read. It is a very motivating book.
Martin Luther King Jr., and anyone else who has fought for what they believe in and has lived to tell the story
and my sister, Belle :)
Ohhhh yeah- and the makers of Nintendo- I love Super Mario Bros!!!

The makers of "Rejected", a compilation of rejected short clips of stick people and shtuff- check it out lol!!
The makers of Pac-Man, because I want Blinky (the lil red guy) as a pet... yes I believe technology will eventually get me a 2-dimensional red pet that's all eyes.....
