Kraken Oxen is a band created by the ex-bassist and guitarist of Weeping Minds of Silence, a noise band which split in 2004.
It was first born as a studio band and played with various musicians such as members from Duet, H2oil, Ezekie3l or Enki to emerge its first full-length “Titan Deceit†which was recorded over three different studio sessions. This debut was released in late 2005 by Space Patrol.
For its second album "North Asylum" out on Alp/Runa in 2006, Kraken Oxen decided to come back to a more typical line-up with regular members coming from its first debut album. 12 tracks which offers a dark and gloomy rock as for “Titan Deceit†but giving space to acoustic sounds.
