About Me

It would be quite hard to decide on an official start date for this project.
Sometimes I would say it could be the moment I recorded So Empty, which allowed me to enter the now defunct Colectivo Q, formed by a number of spanish post rock bands whose sound were quite different from the dark electronic sound I was devoted to by then. Sometimes it could be a few years earlier in 1996, when I signed the soundtrack for Green Blood (a game that never got to be released) under this name, or maybe it was back in 1990, when I was requested some of my early (and mostly lost) instrumental music for a student documentary about the school I was studying in.
Rather than devoting myself to a solo project, I have been jumping in and out of a number of music projects such as Midi Version, Virtual Vision, Slurp Schwein, Folk Futura, dMentia, Cliché or Fuckware . So, even though I kept writing my own stuff, I never thought of Syncro as something that could translate well as a live act before I recorded that simple song, which eventually led me to my first live appearance as a solo act (with the help of some good friends).
It would be hard not to notice the heavy influence of Depeche Mode in my sound, but exactly in the same way it shows in many other bands I deeply admire who happen to like the same kind of electronic music I do, but do not enjoy the success they deserve. Not at least outside from the dark community. Besides, my early compositions were new age stuff, which led to this DM like sound which then evolved into this dark indie sound, which eventually evolved to slow industrial until I decided to leave my harder stuff for Fuckware , keeping everything else - except that new age stuff.
Nowadays, a number of very quietly released demos stand behind the way, and I guess I have got enough enough tracks as to burn a demo. And maybe update the so called official web page with some content. And maybe some of that new stuff.
As a final note, a special mention should go to Pierre Dalcourt from Canada, who translated what I believed to be some good songs into great stuff, Marcos Peñalosa from Seville, who besides being a great friend always had his voice and guitar available (be it for a demo or a live set), Olivia Lumley and her awe inspiring vocals, Pablo Vinuesa for thinQing of me back then, and so many others - you know who you are.
