About Me

My name is Brenna and I have recently graduated from high school. I started this for my Senior Thesis Project, but I will continue with it as long as I can.
I have a whole group of best friends. "The Group" was me, Brandon, Greg, Jeff, Jesse and Nick. (in alphabetical order, HA!) We were all best friends.
I am doing this because Greg died in a car accident partly because he was not wearing a seatbelt. There are other things that contributed to his death, but I am focusing on this, because it's the one thing he could've controlled.
There are several parts to my project, they are:
1. Having people sign pledges promising to always wear their seat belts. My goal for this was to get 1,000 pledges, and that number has already been doubled! So now I just want to get as many as possible, and from as many countries as possible. To sign a pledge, go to www.buckleup4greg.com and click on "Pledge to Buckle Up". I can also snail-mail pledges to you, or e-mail a Word document with them on it if you want to get others to sign them too.
2. Doing presentations at schools, youth groups, clubs, etc. Please contact me if you have a group you want me to come talk to!
3. Making a DVD to send to schools across the country and to show at the presentations.
4. I will be making signs to install near exits of local schools reminding people to buckle up. I installed the first sign at my school recently. (see pic section!) Greg's parents really liked it and want me to install more at every high school that will let me. I received a grant to cover the costs, so now just have to schedule the installations. I have a couple of ideas that I could do along with the signs, so I am waiting to hear back from the principals once school starts back up in the fall.
