I am a workaholic. Fortunately I have a wonderful woman, Lise, that understands a schedule like mine. I like art: Making it, viewing it, collecting it. I like tattoos: Getting them, giving them, and looking at them. I like Music: Lots of it.....but, not all of it. I play bass in Fran Hammer, The Poontanglers, and the Men Of Leisure. I like old cars: driving em, riding em, wrecking em. Fuck that new car smell. I like the smell of an automotive heat vent that runs all year long.

Star Wars shaped my life. Smokey and the Bandit, Cannonball Run, National Lampoon, Monty Python, and the Airplane/Naked Gun series are also to blame. Cohen Brothers, Zucker Brothers, Farelly Brothers, Kevin Smith, Quenton Tarentino, Sam Raimi (especially with Bruce Campbell), and Terry Gilliam always pleases me. But I can't leave out a few one-offs like Bullit, Repo Man, Goonies, Princess Bride, Night Patrol, Hudson Hawk, Gummo, Corndog Man, and of course, Traci, I Love You.

Not trying to leave anyone out, but I am particularly moved by people who push to the next level, real Do It Yourselfers, especially if they drag the rest of the world with them. From the Tattoo world: Ed Hardy, Sailor Jerry, Paul Rogers, Jack Rudy, Horiyoshi II & III, Greg Irons, Bob Roberts, Mark Mahoney, who were such key figures in the modernization of tattooing.
