Music:

i basically like listening to anything chill or funky, music that makes me want to speed down the highway, think, reflect, makes me sad, makes me happy, or that makes me feel kewl or sexy, music that sounds good in movies, or makes me want to go on an epic adventure: Nine Inch Nails, Beastie Boys, Beck, Cibo Matto, Fantastic Plastic Machine, Negativland, White Zombie, KMFDM, Gorillaz, Lovage, Le Tigre, The Pixies, Del, Led Zeplin, Portis Head, Tricky, Jimi Hendrix, Janes Addiction, Hooverphonic, soundtracks like StarWars, Fight Club, the Alien series, Snatch, Martix and new stuff i don't know the names of yet

Movies:

*WARNING: I'm a big Sci-Fi/Fantasy fan and I make no bones about it* Conan the Barbarian, The Road Warrior, Akira, The Big Lebowski, Aliens (the best fucking movie ever), Say Anything, 12 Monkeys, The Day the Earth Stood Still, The 5th Element, Jerry Maguire, Strange Days, LOR, KiKi's Delivery Service, StarWars (in all it's various forms of greatness and suckyness), Star Trek, 28 Days Later, The Matrix Series, Dangerous Liaisons (i love epics and costume dramas), Romeo and Juliet, The Indiana Jones Series, Poltergeist (that movie scares the shit out of me), Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind, Seven Samurai, Ghost in the Shell, The Outlaw Josey Wales, Blade Runner, and a whole hell of a lot more...

Television:

i'm not really big on television and watch as little as i can get away with (unless someone's watching it and then i'm sucked in like a cultists) and i especially feel reality shows are the bane of the existence of all life on this planet and all those associated with them in any form should be dragged into the streets, tortured and put to an excruciatingly, painful, and embarrassing death...but let me tell you how i really feel...

Books:

i like to read books on anthropology and astronomy (study the past and the future to understand the present or some such crap), Edgar Rice Buroughs, books on making movies, books on writing, weird survivalist books, William Gibson, The Wanderers from Skull Rock series (i'm actually in that book), Robert E. Howard, books on the evils of television and popular culture, old comic books, a few manga, with a sprinkling on fortune telling and the occult books thrown in for color
