Very Irish and very proud of it. A.K.A. "Musical Casey" "Celtic Casey" and "The Kid with the Mandolin"
I'm a liberal with long hair living in the south, and I sometimes feel like everybody looks at me funny when I'm walking around small towns.
I play traditional Irish music on the bouzuki, tenor banjo, mandolin and fiddle. My music is my lifeline to sanity, and I sometimes feel it's a truer friend to me than anyone I know. However, I'm blessed to have friends who have put up with my playing until I've progressed far enough that I (and hopefully they) like listening to myself.
From time to time, I wonder if everyone else is a figment of my imagination and whether this life is just my first night's dream as a child with a million lifetimes left to live.
I can't live without my mountains, they speak to a part of me that's much older than my body.
I worry excessively, sometimes just to see how big the ulcer will get before I have to see someone about it.
To me, the most beautiful thing in the world is the ocean of light created by sunlight filtering through a ceiling of swaying leaves.
I am thoughtful, but not always provocative; well-spoken, but not a genius; a good person, though probably not by everyone's standards; I've made promises and broken them, but I've always felt bad about doing so; I make mistakes, but I'm not afraid to admit when I do.

What Celtic Diety are you?

Taliesin
{tal-i-ess-in} (Welsh) Radiant Brow, Prince of Song; Chief of the Bards of the West; a poet. Patron of Druids, Bards, and minstrels; a shape-shifter. Writing, poetry; wisdom; wizards; Bards; music; knowledge; magic. A semi-mythical figure whose life has become deeply intertwined with the Divinities of the Celts. A book of his work exists, set down in the 13th century; several of the works within it are regarded as genuine. He figures in many tales, but chief among them is the story that he began as the boy Gwion, was asked by the Cauldron-Crone Cerridwen to watch the vessel in which she brewed a Knowledge potion, inadvertently tasted it himself, was pursued by her in a chase involving many shapeshifts, and was at length swallowed by Her, to be reborn nine months later as the Divine bard Taliesin.
