Roulette Radio

Thanks for checkin' our page. We are Roulette Radio. The three of us hail from a tiny farm town in South Texas called Taft, Tafido for those that know. We came up in a DIY punk rock scene that we helped start in our little corner of the world back in the early and mid-nineties. We played shows anywhere we could: parent's garages, tool sheds, back bedrooms, even wide open country pastures; hand drawing flyers and stealing five-cent copies from the local high school. We're proud to say that scene is still fighting to stay alive to this day. Our life paths have converged in North Texas and we're pulling together, culminating our influences and our desire to share our love of punk rock music with the world. We're about having fun with our music and hope to inspire good times, turn a few of you youngsters on to some new sounds, and hopefully make some of you old schoolers wax nostalgically for the old days. We're not trying to start something new, just trying to keep something alive. Get to know us a little better: Jamie Montemayor aka Brisket Head-lead guitar, lead vocals. Back in Tafido he played in such bands as Lost Minds, Billie Joe and the Scabs, Another God Forsaken Tragedy, and numerous other short-lived though well-intentioned projects. He's been filling his notebook with lyrics and music for a few years now waiting for this to come to fruition. Chase Izquierdo aka Chase the Bass-bass, backing vox. Chase is the junior of the group. When the Taft scene started out he was in kindergarten. He Rox. Tony Rodriguez aka Tony Spic-drums, backing vox. Tony's been playing punk rock drums since 1991 (and he still sux). He's played in such Tafido bands as Reason for Existence and Spic (Taft's pioneering and most influential punk rock band); San Antonio bands: the Slicks and Slowpoke Rodriguez.
