The Tampadancehall staff would like to send a special prayer to the three pioneers we have recently lost in the battlefield and their families.
R.I.P to "Tony Montana", "Chris Rock", & "Bumma Blaze".
Last year a last year, dis year ah dis year!!! Meet Tampadancehall. We've been in the
game for just a little over a year, and have accomplished so much. Our annual event, the P.L.U.S.H Fest, is getting better year after year, our radio station is still going strong, we
have interviewed some of the big names in reggae such as Mr. Easy, Aidonia, Everton Blender, Richie Spice, Twin of Twins, Bascom X and more. After realizing the website gets roughly 3000 hits a day, we have begun to take Reggae, Dancehall, and the entire Caribbean culture as a whole more seriously. The mixtapes that we put out are hot on the streets, and have many listeners wanting more. Our versatility is what puts us in a league of our own, and we are proud of it.
Giving the website a new look has caught the eye of many, but the main subject of the front page is Mr. Passa, the comical character that keeps you updated with the latest hearsay on the streets, from yard and abroad. Exclusive music videos can be viewed on the site, along with special "Behind The Scenes" footage from Reggae Gold 2007, and VP Records, "Dancehall Draft Picks."
Our radio station boasts with Dj's from Canada to New York, and of course, many reside in Florida as well. As the new year is here, we are only trying to make an even bigger impact and make ourselves universal instead of just here in Tampa. We have been blessed with love from Germany, Africa, Asia, Bermuda, all around the world. The "King Kong" Carnival this year was a big success, and of course to represent Reggae music was none other than Tampadancehall. People from all different types of cultures were seen rocking to the sweet bassline of the old school one drop riddims, and the jiggy energy-filled dancers were seen showcasing their skills as well. We gave out cd's, a Laptop, and even an Ipod to the many attendees.
We appreciate all of the support from the fans, and we will continue to do this for many years to come! God Bless you all, Tampadancehall.com
