Jenesis (Which means beginning)was born November 20th in Minneapolis Minnesota where she was raised by her single mother whom prayed the gift of music upon her Jenesis began singing at the age of two from there, music became her destiny. She grew up singing in church chiors, participated in school talent shows, as well as performing in her mothers musicals. In 2004, Jenesis started working with her sister Charri of Expliss Records.Together they obtained a relationship and worked with Baby Greeno from I.A.N.T.L. Records for about a year and eventually they branched off too focus on Expliss. Both Jenesis And Charri felt it wasn't working out so they took a break. By her junior year in highschool, Jenesis reunited with an old friend November of Laid Out Records, and started recording occasionally. But Jenesis still didn't feel at home. By the time Jenesis was ready to graduate from high school in 2006. She reconnected with her cousin Rachelle Ranae, who also shared the passion in music. They went on to form a group, calling themselves, Juvvy( Rejuvinate) and Jenesis( which represents a new beginning in her life, as well as Juvvy being reborn).
The chemistry was great and everything was finally stepping into place. They finally had a team with Charri, taking on the role as Manager. Halfway through the project, Juvvy tapped into her spritual side and decided she no longer had the desire. Top of 2007 Jenesis and Charri felt something them, and came to realize that it was music. They started going to T City Studio, taking their dreams into their own hands. Charri and Jenesis pushed forth Expliss Records, bringing in Naine Ranae as President, along with Jenesis,
