The 2nd coming of a "WestCoast Kingdom" is now here!
Along with the "2nd coming of Hip-Hop"...by all means...Aritist/Songwriter Anthony "BlackGhost" Rodgers was born May 10, 1987 in Oakland, California. From the young age of 6, he knew there was a calling somewhere for him in music. While growing up on the sounds of Otis Redding, Stylistics, Isley Brothers, Billie Holiday, Curtis Mayfield, George Clinton and the Parliment and Bootsy Collins. The real influence to this inspirational realtime rapper were LEGENDs such as: Bob Marley, Biggie Smalls, NWA, Jimi Hendrix, Nas, Jay-Z, Snoop, Dr.Dre, and non the less Tupac Shakur!
At the age of 8 his parents moved him outta Oakland,going all over the world, due to all the gang violence and lesser opportunity in the city. In a way it was a bad thing but "with all bad theres good" as Ghost likes to say. Leaving exposed him to a wider and more fine tone of music. In the back of his mind he always knew music was his calling. From football, graffitti, regular art, and track Ghost realized he had way more talents than he could ever imagine, still there was something missing. So as he moved to Texas in 2001, he and his friends started a music group called the Yung Reblz...later to be known as just The Reblz since youth doesn't last forever right?...while attending Texas Southern University in Houston, TX, The Reblz dropped from 4 memeber to 2.
Evisu and Ghost continued to make hit mixtapes but had no idea what to do with them let alone where to go. Eventually the music drive for them was drying out and they moved back to Killeen and split up the group to find seperate callings. Thats when Ghost ran across a guy from New York by the alias of "Mellow." Mellow held the hands of The Reblz until they finally understood the ropes of the game. Splitting up once again due to unknown matters, Ghost started his Legacy...still something was missing..thats when superproducer of the midwest Nolan "B'tre" Ferris got hold of this Menece 2 HipHop. Tre was the one thing Ghost was missing someone who knew the game like the Monopoly Guy knows Boardwalk. Along with Tre, producer Sinatra from Saint Paul, Minn. and Sire of Beatslangaz also put forth in helping Ghost.....its now 2008....The Legacy Begins........
