Nolan Ferris was born on January 18, 1985, in Holland, Mi. By the Age of only three, music was already being expressed by Nolan. He loved singing, dancing, and found unique love for the piano. By the age of 8, he was already using low tech keyboards and rhythm machines to make music, and play his material live. He picked the talent up quick and with no lessons, he played everything by ear. By age 12, He was enrolled in special courses in school for learning notes and chords. His grandfather “William Tucker” whom was widely known for his piano skills throughout the Midwest region and Arkansas, began to teach Nolan when he seen that he was musically inclined. Throughout his whole childhood, his mother would take him and his sister roller skating every weekend. Again, His love for music and rhythm was expressed. At the age of only 16, He took on the stage name "B'tre" and he had set up a production studio in his basement and began recording his material. He loved all genres of music but was more drawn to hip hop and rap. He started with programs such as fruity loops and acid, making hip hop beats with his midi keyboards and low tech sounds. At the age of 18, he was selling his tracks for about $15.00, to local Rappers and artist, he hooked up with good friend ,”Brad Irwin” and began working together as the group “Proximity Minds” . They put out a few projects and began getting recognized for their production and rap skills. A few years later, Nolan Decided to go his own way and legally formed “B Tre Productions”. He signed a deal with “In the way Marketing” Managed by Quincy Taylor, Which lead him to working with a few regionals and locals, and eventually releasing the “Midwest Frontier”. After breaking his contract with ITW, He freelanced for a while until hooking up with a local entertainment company “Infinite Entertainment” managed by Steve Roberts. He started his new production company "KICKSTAR PRODUCTIONZ" under his new alias "KICKSTAR" Currently Nolan has worked with names such as ; RAY CASH, JC from Bad Boy, Lil D, Royce da 5’9, kid vishis, JT tha Bigga Figga, Juelz Santana, Low G from dope house, Shadow From Dope House, Cali Miles, and remixing tracks for Ray Cash. He had his own home studio, using Protools, Phantom X6, MPC 2000xl, Reason 4.0 for making the fire that you hear today. Nolan’s primary goal is to sign a production deal with a major label, and work exclusively with artists to help develop their sound.MY SESSION WITH RAY CASH IN CLEVELANDMY SESSION WITH ROYCE DA 5'9 AND KID VISHIS IN DETROIT
